Oasistrek aims at introducing natural landscape and hiking routes in Hong Kong. Upon the establishment of the website in February 2004, I have been planning to make an English version for those who don’t read Chinese, including locals, visitors and tourists that are interested in the wild places in Hong Kong. I am so delighted to get it done. Trekking and taking pictures in the countryside are my favorite outdoor activities. I am especially fond of the scenery in Sai Kung and the northeast of New Territories because of the naturalness and wilderness. The infrastructure development is expanding drastically and it creates irreversible impacts on the natural environment. I sincerely wish that you would cherish and preserve our nature.

p.s. Please forgive my wording. I am not good at English but I have tried my best. Any advice for improving my writing skill is highly appreciated.
